Instructions

Start working from the bottom part with circle rows. Cast on 260 (273) 286 (299) 325 (351) sts with knitting needles 4 and knit 4 rows of garter stitch. Then, make the ornament according to scheme 1. Make 2 pattern repeats in height. Make the next 15 cm as straight cloth. Then, start making decreases. They're made near the marker in the following way: slip 1 st as knit st, 1 knit st, throw it through the slipped st, marker, knit2tog.

Make such decreases in every 6 (6) 6 (7) 7 (7) row, i.e., 14 (13) 13 (12) 12 (12) times. There are 148 (164) 182 (202) 224 (250) sts in work. Knit straight for 6 rows. Make increases in the next row; for this, knit2tog. Increase 4 sts near every marker (2 sts from each side). There are 164 (180) 198 (218) 240 (266), take out markers.

Knit 51 (51) 51 (52) 53 (54) cm. Change to knitting needles 3.5 and make 1 row of knit sts. Increase 8 (10) 8 (10) 6 (8) sts in this row. Totally, 172 (190) 206 (228) 246 (274) sts. For forming arm-holes, bind off 6 sts near the marker (3 sts from both sides).

Back

There are 80 (89) 97 (108) 117 (131) sts in work. Continue the ornament. For arm-holes, decrease 2 sts at the beginning of 2 (3) 5 (7) 7 (9) rows and 1 st at the beginning of 1 (2) 2 (2) 3 (4) rows. Sleeves

Cast on 61 (65) 71 (75) 81 (85) sts with knitting needles 3.5. Knit 4 rows of garter stitch. Change to knitting needles 4 and knit according to the following scheme: 1 selvedge st, 20 (22) 25 (27) 30 (32) knit sts, 1 knit st, 1 yarn over, 1 knit st, 1 yarn over, 1 knit st, 1 yarn over, scheme 1, 1 yarn over, 1 knit st, 1 yarn over, 1 knit st, 1 yarn over, 1 knit st. Assembly

Sew the sleeves. Make side seams. Lift 92 (100) 100 (105) 118 (122) sts along the neck-hole and make 4 rows of garter stitch. Bind off the sts.
