Instructions

Back

Cast on 180, 190, or 200 stitches and divide the stitches as follows: 1 selvedge stitch, 35, 40, or 45 stitches for wrong-side rows, 3 pattern repeats of rib, 35, 40, or 45 stitches for wrong-side rows, and 1 selvedge stitch.

After 146 rows, you will have 114, 124, or 134 stitches. Continue working, dividing the stitches as follows: 1 selvedge stitch, 35, 40, or 45 stitches for wrong-side rows, 3 pattern repeats of cable, 35, 40, or 45 stitches for wrong-side rows, and 1 selvedge stitch.

At 60, 59, or 58 cm from the 1st row, bind off 3 stitches from both sides in even rows once, then 2 x 2 stitches, and lastly, 1 x 7 stitches. Then, decrease 1 stitch twice in every 4th row. There will be 82, 92, or 102 stitches left.

Starting from a height of 76 cm, create the neck-hole by binding off the central 42, 50, or 58 stitches. Then, bind off 4 stitches once in every 2nd row along the forming side and 1 stitch 3 times.

At 80 cm, finish work and bind off the remaining stitches.

Front

Make the front in the same manner as the back, with a notable difference in creating the neck-hole. Starting at 67 cm, bind off the central 26, 34, or 42 stitches. Then, for the rounding line of the neck-hole, bind off 5 stitches, 3 stitches, 2 stitches, and 1 x 4 stitches in every 2nd row. Finally, bind off 1 x 3 stitches in every 4th row.

Knit the front part to match the required size, ensuring it is the same length as the back. Finish work by binding off the remaining stitches.

Assembly

Make all seams.

Along the neck-hole line, lift 132, 136, or 140 stitches (60, 62, 64 stitches from back + 72, 74, 76 stitches from front) using circle knitting needles size 4.5. Make 1 row with purls and bind off all purls.

Along the edge of each arm-hole, lift approximately 91, 94, or 97 stitches. Make 1 row with purls, then bind off all the purls.
