Step-by-Step Guide to Crocheting a Beautiful Bead and Waver Pattern with Puff Stitches

This pattern consists of beads and wavers. Change the color of yarn once in 3 rows.

The quantity of stitches is multiplied by 5 + 8 + 5 stitches.

Puff Stitch

Puff stitch: (yarn over, pull the yarn from the stitch) 3 times (= 6 stitches + 1 base stitch), crochet 6 stitches on the crochet hook (= 2 stitches), crochet 2 stitches on the crochet hook.

Row Instructions

1st Row

1 double crochet in the 4th stitch from the crochet hook, 1 double crochet in the next 2 stitches (= 3 double crochets), skip 2 stitches, *(2 double crochets in the next stitch, 1 chain stitch, 2 double crochets in the next stitch) - this is waver, skip 3 stitches*; repeat from * to * to the last 5 stitches, skip 2 stitches, 1 double crochet in the last 3 stitches;

Make wavers in 1 stitch in all the following rows.

2nd Row

* 3 chain stitches, 1 double crochet in the first 2 crochets, waver in the center of waver*; repeat from * to *, finish with 1 slip stitch in the last 3 crochets;

3rd Row

3 chain stitches, 1 double crochet in the first 2 crochets, * puff stitch in the hole of the 1st row between the wavers, waver in the center of waver*; repeat from * to *, finish with puff stitch in the hole of the 1st row between the wavers, 1 double crochet in the last 3 crochets;

4th Row

3 chain stitches, 1 double crochet in the first 2 crochets, waver in the center of waver*; repeat from * to *, finish with 1 double crochet in the last 3 crochets;

5th Row

3 chain stitches, 1 double crochet in the first 2 crochets, waver in the center of waver*; repeat from * to *, finish with 1 double crochet in the last 3 crochets.

Repeat 3rd-5th rows for forming the relief pattern.
