How to Paint White Fabric Sneakers with Water-Based Batik Paints

You'll Need:

White fabric sneakers;

Set of liquid water-based paints for batik;

Sprinkler with pure water.

Instructions

Prepare the paints. To obtain a more transparent color, you can add cold water to the bottles (then shake and mix the paint).

Cover the work surface with cellophane or oilcloth, place the sneakers on it, and properly moisten their fabric part with the sprinkler.

Decide in what order you will apply the paint. Focus on the order of the colors of the rainbow (otherwise, when mixed, colors can give a dirty tint). Take a bottle of paint and put it to the noses of the sneakers. Liquid paint will soak well in a damp cloth - you can not use a brush.

Next, take a bottle of paint of a different color and put it over the next area. On a damp cloth, the paints will mix by themselves.

Continue the same pattern until you color all the sneakers. Now they need to be dried thoroughly and, if necessary, to fix the paint with hot steam.
