Square Motif
Make the back part of your oven cloth with light-green yarn.
Start with the ring, making *4 double crochets, 3 chain stitches* 4 times in the ring. Tighten. You'll get an ordinary square.
Make the next rows under double crochets. In the corners (under chain stitches), create 2 double crochets, 3 chain stitches, and 2 double crochets.
Leaves
Use green yarn.
Make 4 trefoils on 4 petals out of 8.
Attach the red yarn to the top of the petal.
Make 8 chain stitches. Form a stitch sequence of single crochet, half double crochet, 3 double crochets, half double crochet, and single crochet down the chain. Slip stitch in the top of the petal. Don’t cut the yarn.
Make 9 chain stitches and fasten the chain with single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, 2 treble crochets, double crochet, half double crochet, and single crochet. Attach it similarly to the first leaf.
For the third leaf, make 8 chain stitches followed by single crochet, half double crochet, 3 double crochets, half double crochet, and single crochet. Using a slip stitch, cut the yarn and fasten it.
Make 3 more leaves.
Fastening
Use yellow yarn.
In the 1st row of fastening, create chains of different lengths (refer to the scheme), attaching single crochets to the tops of the leaves.
In the next row, fasten with arches of 3 and 5 chain stitches.
Now, make the last row with double crochets.
Attach two square motifs with a crochet hook and orange yarn using single crochets.
Fasten with bunches of double crochets at the common top, forming groups of treble crochets in the corners.
Make a loop at the edge of the oven cloth by making 15 chain stitches. Circle them into a ring and fasten with 25 single crochets.
