Comprehensive Guide to Knitting with Detailed Rows and Abbreviations for Optimal Results

Knitted in a multiple of 14 sts + 1 and 10-row repeat.

Row Instructions

Row 1 - Right Side: * k1, yo, k1, ssk, k7, k2tog, k1, yo; repeat from * to last st, k1.

Row 2 and all wrong side rows: Purl.

Row 3: * k2, yo, k1, ssk, k5, k2tog, k1, yo, k1; repeat from * to last st, k1.

Row 5: * k3, yo, k1, ssk, k3, k2tog, k1, yo, k2; repeat from * to last st, k1.

Row 7: * k4, yo, k1, ssk, k1, k2tog, k1, yo, k3; repeat from * to last st, k1.

Row 9: * k5, yo, k1, sk2p, k1, yo, k4; repeat from * to last st, k1.

Abbreviations

K: Knit

P: Purl

Yo: Yarn over

K2tog: Knit 2 sts together

Ssk: Slip slip knit

Sk2p: Slip stitch, knit 2 sts together, pass slipped stitch over
