Complete Guide to Creating a Stunning Yoke Design with Burgundy Stella Yarn

You’ll need:

  • 500g of burgundy Stella yarn (100% mercerized cotton; 145m/50g)
  • Crochet hooks 2.5 and 3

Size: S

Note: Make pattern design in full dimensions.

Instructions

Yoke

Make 32 motifs according to Scheme 1 with crochet hook 2.5 and connect motifs to one another, matching with the pattern design. Then, sew 2 motifs for each sleeve and make 2 rows of double crochets on the central motifs.

After that, work according to Scheme 2. Increase 1 crochet in every 2nd fan in 5 pattern repeats and make 7 pattern repeats, increasing 1 crochet in every fan. In the next 5 pattern repeats, switch to crochet hook 3 and make 7 pattern repeats downwards. Finish your work.

Fasten the edges of sleeves with 2 rows of double crochets and 1 pattern repeat according to Scheme 2. Fasten the neck-hole with 1 row of double crochets.
