Materials

This is a sports weight cotton yarn, and I used a 3 mm hook:

The flower measures nearly 3 inches/7 cm across.

The flowers for my join-as-you-go creation are worked in lace weight (Alize Miss) with a 1.75 mm hook.

Each flower measures 1¾"/4½ cm across, and the whole piece is 5½"/14 cm across the widest point.

Round 3

Now we make three loops of 5 ch going around each petal.

*Ch 5, ss into top space of petal, ch 5, ss into same space, ch 5, ss into bottom space of petal.
Ch 2, ss into bottom space of next petal.*
Repeat from * to * five times, finishing your last ss into the bottom space of your first petal.

The first petal.

The last slip stitch.

Tie off and thread the tail end through that bottom space to the back and weave in. Weave in your other end.
