Comprehensive Guide to Crocheting a Stylish Light-Green and Red Top

You’ll Need:

200 (250) 250g of light-green Cotofine yarn (70% cotton, 30% polyamide; 90m/50g);

100 (150) 150g of the same yarn, but in red color;

Crochet hook 6.

Size:

S (M) L.

Used Patterns

Main pattern: The quantity of sts is multiple of 6 + 1. Work according to the scheme. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, and finish with sts after pattern repeat.

Make 1st-13th rows once, then repeat 4th-13th rows.

Stitches Control:

18 sts x 6.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Make 79 (85) 97 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase with red yarn and work with the main pattern. In 35 (35) 33 cm from the set-up row, bind off 4 cm from both sides for arm-holes. In 54 cm from the set-up row, finish your work.

Front

Make in the same way as the back but with neck-hole. For this, in 44.5 cm from the set-up row, bind off the central 18 cm and finish both sides separately. Finish your work on the rest sts of the shoulder at the height of the back.

Assembly

Make seams with light-green yarn. Fasten the edges of the neck-hole and arm-holes with 1 circle row of single crochets and 1 circle row of “shrimp stitch” with light-green yarn.
