Materials and Tools

  • Any yarn in red, milk, and other colors for decoration (I used Alize Cotton Gold yarn - 55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 330 m/100 gr)
  • Crochet hook suitable for your yarn (I used a 2.25 mm crochet hook)
  • Stuffing material: fiberfill
  • Yarn needle, scissors
  • Hanging tape
  • Thick plastic or cardboard for the framework (optional)

The finished product using the materials described in this pattern is approximately 3.2 inches / 8 cm tall.

Roof

With red color yarn
1 rnd – 6 sc into MR
Leave a hole in MR for inserting the hanging tape later.
2 rnd – 6 inc (12)

5 rnd – Sc, (inc 3, 4 sc) x 3 times, inc 3, 3 sc (28)
6 rnd – 28 sc (28)

Fasten off and cut the yarn.

Walls

Attach milk color yarn to the back loops of the 12th round.
1-12 rnd – 52 sc (52)
At the end of the 12th round make +7 sc to reach the corner.
Continue working in back and forth rounds: make a ch at the end of each round, turn, and continue working on the opposite side.
1 rnd – FLO – 1 ch, 13 sc, ch, turn
2-13 rnd – 13 sc, ch, turn
Fasten off and cut the yarn.

Windows (Make 3)

Use different color yarns
1 rnd – 6 sc into MR
2 rnd – 6 inc (12)
3 rnd – (inc 3, 2 sc) x 4 times, sl st
Cut off the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Door

1 rnd – Chain 6, and start working in the second stitch from the hook – 4 sc, 3 sc in the last stitch of the chain, work on the other side of the chain – 4 sc, ch, turn and continue working in back and forth rounds.
2 rnd – 4 sc, 3 inc, 4 sc, ch, turn
3 rnd – 4 sc, (inc, sc) x 3 times, 4 sc
Cut off the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Assembly

Insert the hanging tape into MR and tie a knot.
Sew the windows and the door. My yarn consists of 4 threads, for sewing I used two of them.
Hide the tail from inside.
