Notes

• This crochet handbag was my lovely weekend project. Just keep a consistent tension throughout the entire project.
• Crochet in a spiral. Use something to mark the first stitch of a round and move it up as your work progresses.
• "The Magic Circle" is used to start each piece. Alternative technique: ch 2, then sc x 6 into the second chain away from the hook. Slip stitch to join the round. This creates Round 1.

Round 1: Magic Circle with a base of 6 stitches

Round 2: inc x 6 = 12 sts

Round 3: (1 inc, 1 sc) x 6 = 18 sts

Round 4: (1 inc, 2 sc) x 6 = 24 sts

Round 5: (1 inc, 3 sc) x 6 = 30 sts

Round 6: (1 inc, 4 sc) x 6 = 36 sts

Round 7: (1 inc, 5 sc) x 6 = 42 sts

Round 8: (1 inc, 6 sc) x 6 = 48 sts

Round 9: (1 inc, 7 sc) x 6 = 54 sts

Round 10: (1 inc, 8 sc) x 6 = 60 sts

Round 11: (1 inc, 9 sc) x 6 = 66 sts

Round 12: (1 inc, 10 sc) x 6 = 72 sts

Round 13~32: sc in the next 72 stitches (20 rows) = 72 sts

*Change yarn color to Black

Round 33~34: sc in the next 72 stitches (2 rows) = 72 sts

Round 35: 11 sc, 14 ch, 22 sc, 14 ch, 11 sc = 72 sts

Round 36~38: sc in the next 72 stitches (3 rows) = 72 sts

Round 39: Fasten off & hide the tail.
