• ch = chain
• dc = double crochet

Instructions

Start: Chain 22. (To increase by 6 or decrease by 6, to make bigger or smaller.)

Row Instructions

Row 1: Dc in the 5th chain from the hook, dc in each stitch across, -18 dc

Row 2: Turn, Chain 3 (counts as a dc), work dc in the 4th stitch, dc, ch 2, 2 dc in the same stitch, skip two stitches, *dc in the next stitch, skip two stitches, work a shell (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in the next stitch, *repeat across, dc in the last stitch.

Row 3: Ch 3 (counts as a dc), work shell in the next previous ch 2 space (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in the chain 2 space), dc in the next previous dc, *repeat across, dc in the last dc.

Row 4 - Desired Length: Repeat Row 3 for the rest of the scarf. When you are finished, dc across for the last row to finish it off, weave in the ends.
