Materials You Will Need

  • WeCrochet BRAVA Yarn (100% Acrylic, Worsted, 218 yds/100g):
  • White – 3/4 skein (or pink and white)
  • Black – 1/3 skein (or purple and black)
  • 4.0mm hook
  • Scissors
  • Tapestry needle
  • Polyfill

Gauge

4 sts x 5 rounds = 1 square inch

Size

7×5 inches

Stitches Used in the Pattern (US Terms)

  • st/sts = stitch/stitches
  • ch = chain
  • sk = skip
  • sl st = slip stitch
  • inc = increase
  • dec = decrease
  • ATC = Alternative Turning Chain, aka Stacked SC

Important Notes

To make the pattern easier to read, I wrote each stitch without mentioning sc. So for example:

  • ALL stitches are single crochet.
  • 2w means 1 sc in the next 2 sc stitches, both are in the color white.
  • 2w x 4 means crochet 2 white sc stitches in each of the next 4 stitches.
  • (1w, 2w) x 4 means crochet 1 white sc in 1 st, 2 white sc in the next st, and repeat from * 3 more times (4 times in total)
  • 1w inv dec means 1 invisible single crochet decrease in white.
