Round 3

Sl st into ch1 space, 10 treble crochet in ch2 space, [sl st in next ch1 space, 10 treble crochet in ch2 space]. Do this 3 times, join with sl st to first sl st.

Creating the Tail

Ch97 and finish off leaving a 7-inch tail.

Note: If you chain the last two chains of the ch97 very loosely, it will make it a little easier to add a tassel.

Adding a Tassel

Cut 10 11-inch strands of thread. Stick hook in ending chain of tail. Fold strands in half onto the hook. Pull a loop with the strands. Pull loose strands through the loop and pull taut.

Note: Sometimes I make a knot on top of the tassel using the loose strands.

Trim ends so they’re even and weave in the end from starting.
