Crochet Bra Instructions with Relief Patterns

You’ll Need:

5 (6) 6 skeins of 100% cotton yarn (125m/50g);

Crochet hook size 3;

3 buttons.

Size:

XS; S; M.

Note:

It’s important to prepare the pattern design and make increases and decreases, matching with it.

Used Patterns

Relief Pattern:

(the quantity of sts is multiplied 8 + 3 chain sts increase): make with circle rows according to the scheme.

Fringe:

1 double crochet, skip 2 sts, 5 double crochets in 1 base st, skip 2 sts*; repeat from * to *.

Stitches Control:

Double crochets – 18.5 sts x 12 rows = 10 x 10 cm; relief pattern: 22.5 sts x 12 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Right Part of Bra:

34 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase, start each row with 3 chain sts increase instead of the 1^st double crochet. In 9 cm from the set-up row, leave 17 sts from the left side. In 18 cm from the set-up row finish your work.

Left Part of Bra:

Work in symmetry with the right part.

Bottom:

224 (240) 256 chain sts, slip st in the ring, and start the relief pattern. Decrease 40 sts in the 13^th row for the waist: skip 40 sts x each 5^th and 6^th single crochet (40 x each 6 single crochets) x 35 times, each 5^th and 6^th x every 8 single crochets = 184 (200) 216 sts.

Repeat these decreases in the 25^th row, skip 40 x every 4^th and 5^th single crochet (40 x each 5^th single crochet) x 25 times x each 5 and 6 and 16 x every 5 single crochets = 144 (160) 176 sts.

In 24 cm from the set-up row, divide your work at the beginning of the circle row and work with straight and reversed rows. In 32 cm from the set-up row, make 3 rows of double crochets.

Assembly:

Make central seams of the bra, and fasten it with fringe from both sides. Sew the bra to the bottom part. For each strap, attach the yarn to the corner of the bra and make a chain 30 cm long and fasten it with fringe. Sew the straps, and fasten the cut with 1 row of single crochets, making three button-holes. Sew the buttons.
