If you prefer a cowl over a scarf, you can knit one for yourself that is both stylish and simple to follow. You'll need circular needles as well as 8-inch needles for this one, but don't let that deter you. This is a really simple knitting project that you can do in a weekend or less. Make a several of them in different colors once you've gotten the hang of it to spice up your clothing.
