Special Stitches

Half Cluster (HC) - work 1dc into each of the next 3 sts until 1 loop of each remains on the hook, yo and through all 4 loops on the hook.

Cluster - work 1dc into each of the next 5 sts until 1 loop of each remains on the hook, yo and through all 6 loops on the hook.

The quantity of sts is a multiple of 6 + 3.

Row Instructions

1st Row (Right Side)

Work dc2tog working into the 4th and 5th ch from the hook, *3ch, 1sc into next ch, turn, 1ch, 1sc into the last sc worked, 3sc into last 3ch sp formed, [turn, 1ch, 1sc into each of the 4sc] 3 times, work 1 Cluster over the next 5ch; rep from * to end but working Half Cluster at the end of the last rep, turn;

2nd Row

4ch (count as 1tr), work 2tr into the top of the 1st Half Cluster, skip 3sc, 1sc into the next sc, *5tr into the top of the next Cluster, skip 3sc, 1sc into the next sc; rep from * to last dc2tog, 3tr into the top of 3ch at the beginning of the previous;

3rd Row

3ch (count as 1dc), skip the 1st tr, work dc2tog over the next 2tr, *3ch, 1sc into the next sc, turn, 1ch, 1sc into the last sc worked, 3sc into the last 3ch sp formed, [turn, 1ch, 1sc into each of the 4sc] 3 times, work 1 Cluster over the next 5tr; rep from * to end but working Half Cluster at the end of the last rep placing the last dc of Half Cluster into the 4th of the 4ch at the beginning of the previous row, turn.

Repeat 2nd-3rd rows.
