1st Row (WS)

hdc in 6th ch from hook (skip ch counts as hdc and ch 1 sp), *ch 1, skip 1 ch, hdc in next ch; rep from * across, turn;

2nd Row

ch 1, sc in each hdc and ch 1 sp across to tch, sc in 1st and 2nd ch of tch, turn;

3rd Row

ch 1, sc in 1st sc, ch 2, skip 2 sc, v-st in next sc, ch 2, skip 2 sc, sc in next sc, *picot, ch 2, skip 2 sc, v-st in next sc, ch 2, skip 2 sc, sc in next sc; rep from * across to end, turn;

4th Row

ch 3 (counts as dc), *shell in next v-st ch 2 sp, ch 1; rep from * across to last v-st, shell in next v-st ch 2 sp, dc in last sc, turn;

5th Row

ch 3 (counts as hdc, ch 1 sp), hdc in next ch 2 sp, ch 1, hdc in next ch 2 sp, *ch 1, hdc in next ch 1 sp, [ch 1, hdc in next ch 2 sp] twice; rep from * across to last shell, ch 1, hdc in top of tch, turn.
