Used Patterns

Wavy Pattern

The quantity of stitches is a multiple of 12. Work according to the scheme 1. Start with stitches before the pattern repeat, do the pattern repeat, then finish with stitches after the pattern repeat. Make the 1st-4th rows once, then repeat the 2nd-4th rows according to the stripes order. For double crochets of the 2nd and 4th rows of the scheme, pin the crochet hook only in RS rows - through the back loop of stitches, in WS rows – in the front loop of the previous row stitch.

Stripes order: 1 orange row, 1 yellow row, 1 melange yellow row, 1 turquoise row.

Net Pattern

The quantity of stitches is a multiple of 6 + 4. Work the same way as the wavy pattern, but according to the scheme 2. Make the 1st-3rd rows once, then repeat the 2nd-3rd rows.

 

Stitch Control

Wavy pattern: 17 stitches x 8 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Net pattern: 21.5 stitches x 9 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

 

Instructions

Back

Make 96 (108) 120 chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase with orange yarn and work with the wavy pattern according to the stripes order. In 27.5 cm = 22 rows from the beginning of work, continue with the net pattern using yellow yarn, leaving 1 stitch open from both sides in the 1st row = 94 (106) 118 stitches. In 24.5 cm = 22 rows (22.5 cm = 20 rows) 20.5 cm – 18 rows from the pattern change, leave 4 stitches open from both sides for arm-holes. Then, leave 5 x 2 stitches, 3 x 1 stitch in every row and 1 x 1 stitch in the next 2nd row. In 45.5 cm = 41 rows from the pattern change, finish your work on the remaining 58 (70) 82 stitches.

 

Front

Make in the same way as the back.

 

Assembly

Make side seams. Fasten arm-holes with 1 row of single crochets using yellow yarn. Then, fasten the upper edge and arm-holes of the front and back together with 1 circular row of single crochets using orange yarn; followed by 1 circular row with yellow mélange yarn and 1 circular row with turquoise yarn. For this, start at one side seam and make 3 stitches in 1 base stitch on the shoulders. Make shoulder seams 2 cm wide with turquoise yarn.
