Crochet Design Using Yellow Caprino Yarn



You’ll Need:
400g of yellow Caprino yarn (60% cotton, 40% polyacryl; 142m/50g);
Crochet hook 3.5.

Square
Due to scheme 1. Make all the next squares in the same way as the 1st one, joining to the next squares in the 4th row. For this, make 1 single crochet behind the arch of the previous squares instead of the central chain stitch of the corner arch of central arch.
Triangle
Due to scheme 2. Join to the previous squares in the 4th row, as it’s described for scheme 1.
Arches of Shells
* 1 single crochet behind arch, 10 double crochets behind arch*; repeat from * to *, finish with 1 slip stitch in the 1st single crochet.
Stitches Control
- Square: 12 x 12 cm;
- Triangle: 12 x 12 x 17 cm.
Note:
Make bottom and upper parts separately, then connect them with a crochet hook.Instructions
Bottom Part
Make 16 squares and connect them according to the pattern design.
Upper Part
Make 22 squares and 13 triangles and connect them according to the pattern design.
Assembly
Connect bottom and upper parts in the following way:
1st round: Join the yarn to the corner connection of the bottom part and make 1 single crochet in this corner, * 7 chain stitches, 1 single crochet in the 4th treble crochets, 7 chain stitches, 1 single crochet behind the next arch, 7 chain stitches, 1 single crochet in the 4th treble crochets, 7 chain stitches, 1 single crochet in the corner*; repeat from * to *, finish with 1 slip stitch in the 1st single crochet;
2nd round: 4 slip stitches to the center of the 1st arch, 1 chain stitch and 1 single crochet in the same arch, * 3 chain stitches, 1 single crochet in the corresponding base stitch of triangles (see arrows on scheme 2), 3 chain stitches, 1 single crochet behind the next arch*; repeat from * to *, finish with 1 slip stitch in the 1st single crochet. Fasten all the edges with arches of shells.
