Row Instructions

(RS): Work 1 single crochet (sc) into the 2nd chain from the hook, *skip 2 chains, work 1 double crochet (dc) into the next chain, 1 chain, into the same chain as the last dc work [1 dc, 1 ch, 1 dc], skip 2 chains, work 1 sc into the next chain; repeat from * to the end, then turn;
2nd Row
4 chains (count as 1 dc, 1 ch), work 1 dc into the 1st sc, skip 1 dc, work 1 sc into the next dc, *work 1 dc into the next sc, 1 ch, into the same stitch as the last dc work [1 dc, 1 ch, 1 dc], skip 1 dc, work 1 sc into the next dc; repeat from * to the last sc, in the last sc work [1 dc, 1 ch, 1 dc], then turn;
3rd Row
1 chain, work 1 sc into the 1st dc, *work 1 dc into the next sc, 1 ch, into the same stitch as the last dc work [1 dc, 1 ch, 1 dc], skip 1 dc, work 1 sc into the next dc; repeat from * to the end placing the last sc into the 3rd chain of the 4 chains at the beginning of the previous row, then turn.
