Stitches Control

15 sts x 23 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 54 (58) 60 sts and work with rib with straight and reversed orders, starting with WS row. In 5 cm from the set-up row, continue work with stockinette stitch. In 22 (23) 24 cm = 50 (52) 54 rows from rib, start making raglan chamfers. For this, bind off 3 sts, then make decorative decreases: decrease 14 (15) 16 x 1 st in every 2nd row = 20 (22) 22 sts on knitting needles. In 13 (14) 15 cm = 30 (32) 34 rows from the beginning of raglan chamfers, bind off the rest 20 (22) 20 sts.

Front

Make in the same way as the back, but create the “fox” motif according to the scheme, starting it in 16 (18) 20 rows from rib. In 31 (33) 35 cm = 72 (76) 80 rows from rib, bind off the central 10 (12) 12 sts for the neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 3 x 1 st in every 2nd row from inwards. At 40 (42) 44 cm height from the lower edge, bind off the rest 2 sts. Make the second half in reflection.

Sleeves

Cast on 24 (26) 28 sts and work with rib with straight and reversed rows. In 5 cm = 11 rows from the set-up row, continue work with 6-7 rows of stockinette stitch from rib, increasing 1 st from both sides for chamfers. Then, bind off 6 x 1 st in every 6th row = 38 (40) 42 sts. In 21 (22) 23 cm = 48 (50) 52 rows from the set-up row, bind off 3 sts from both sides, then make decorative decrease of 14 (15) 16 x 1 st in every 2nd row = 4 sts. In 13 (14) 15 cm = 30 (32) 34 rows from the beginning of raglan chamfers, bind off the rest 4 sts. Make the second sleeve in the same way.

Assembly

Make embroidery lashes with black yarn, and complete raglan, side, and sleeve seams. Transfer the previously left sts of the front to circular knitting needles along with 4 previously left sts of the right sleeve, 20 (22) 22 sts of back, 4 sts of the left sleeve, and 2 sts of the front. Cast on 7 sts along the neck-hole = 55 (60) 60 sts. For the pencil edge trim, make 8 rows of stockinette stitch with green yarn, then bind off sts.
