Easy Crochet Stitch Pattern Instructions for Beginners

The quantity of stitches is multiple 2 + 1.

Row Instructions

1st Row

Starting in the 2nd chain from the hook, 1 single crochet (sc) in each chain across the row, turn;

2nd Row

Chain 3 (counts as first double crochet (dc)), skip the first sc, 1 dc in each sc across the row, turn;

3rd Row

Chain 1, 1 sc in the first dc, chain 2, 1 sc in the space after the next 2 dc, *chain 2, 1 sc in the space after the next 2 dc, repeat from * ending with chain 2, 1 sc in the space between the last dc and the turning chain, 1 sc in the top of the turning chain, turn;

4th Row

Chain 3, 2 dc in the first chain-2 space, repeat from * across, ending with 1 dc in the top of the turning chain, turn.

Repeat Process

Repeat the 3rd and 4th rows.
