The quantity of sts is multiple 12 + 8.

1st row (RS): 7 knit sts, * (yarn over, knit2tog) x 3 times, 6 knit sts; repeat from * to *, 1 knit st;

2nd and all the even rows: purl;

3rd row: 7 knit sts, * (knit2tog, yarn over) x 3 times, 6 knit sts*; repeat from * to *, 1 knit st;

5th row: as the 1st row;

7th row: as the 3rd row;

9th row: 1 knit st, * (yarn over, knit2tog) x 3 times, 6 knit sts*; repeat from * to *, (yarn over, knit2tog) x 3 times, 1 knit st;
