Row Instructions

1st Row: Skip chain and make half double crochet stitch (HDC) in each of the next 19 chains. Total 19 HDC. Turn your work;

2nd Row: Chain one and make HDC in the first stitch, HDC in the back stitches only, across;

3rd Row: Chain one and make single crochet (SC) in the first stitch, chain 2, skip 2 stitches, SC.

4th Row: Chain 3 and make double crochet (DC) in the first stitch. *DC 3 over SC; repeat the entire row; DC 2 in the last stitch;

5th Row: Repeat the 3rd Row;

6th Row: Repeat the 4th Row;

7th Row: Chain one and make HDC across the entire row;

8th Row: Chain one and make HDC in the first stitch, HDC in the back stitches only, across.
