Crochet Project Using Caron Cakes Yarn

You’ll Need:

525 yards of Caron Cakes 525 yarn;

Crochet hook 5.5 mm;

Yarn needle.

Instructions

Chain 106. Join with a slip stitch (SS) without twisting your chain.

1st Round

Ch 1. Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (106 Hdc)

2nd Round

Ch 1. *(Sc, Ch 3, skip the next 2 stitches.) 2 times.

3rd Round

SS into the next ch. Ch 1. *Sc, Ch 3, Sc in the next ch 3 space, 14 Dc in the next ch 5 space. (Sc in the next ch 3 space, Ch 3, Sc in the next ch 3 space, 9 Dc in the next ch 5 space.) 4 times.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Sc made. (8 9Dc shells + 2 14Dc shells.)

4th Round

SS into the next 2 chs. Ch 1. Sc, Ch 5, skip the next 3 stitches. Sc in the next 3 stitches. Ch 5, skip the next stitch. Sc in the next 2 stitches. Ch 5, skip the next stitch. Sc in the next 3 stitches. Ch 5. (Sc, Ch 4, Sc) in the next Ch 3 space. [Ch 5, skip the next 4 stitches. Sc in the next 3 stitches. Ch 5, (Sc, Ch 4, Sc) in the next ch 3 space.] Repeat from [ to ] a total of 4 times. Ch 5, skip the next 3 stitches. Sc in the next 3 stitches. Ch 5, skip the next stitch. Sc in the next 2 stitches. Ch 5, skip the next stitch. Sc in the next 3 stitches. Ch 5. [(Sc, Ch 4, Sc) in the next ch 3 space. Ch 5, skip the next 4 stitches. Sc in the next 3 stitches. Ch 5.] 3 times. 5th Round

SS into the next 3 stitches. Ch 1. *Sc in the next ch 5 space. Ch 3, skip the next Sc. Sc, Ch 3, skip the next Sc. Sc in the next ch 5 space. Ch 5.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Sc made.

6th Round

SS into the next ch. Ch 1. *Sc, Ch 3, Sc in the next Ch 3 space, 14 Dc in the next Ch 5 space. (Sc in the next ch 3 space, Ch 3, Sc in the next ch 3 space, 9 Dc in the next ch 5 space.) 7th Round

SS into the next 2 chs. Ch 1. *Sc in the same ch 3 space. Ch 5, skip the next 3 stitches. Sc in the next 3 stitches. Ch 5, skip the next stitch. Sc in the next 2 stitches. Ch 5, skip the next stitch.
