Main Pattern

Double crochets; start every row with 3 chain sts increase instead of the 1^st double crochet and finish with 1 double crochet in the 3^rd chain st increase of the previous row.

Rhombs Pattern

(20 sts wide): work according to the scheme. Make 1^st-14^th rows x once, 2^nd-6^th rows and 9^th-14^th rows x once, 2^nd-5^th rows and 10^th-14^th rows x once, 2^nd-6^th rows and 9^th-14^th rows x once, 2^nd-14^th rows x once.

Note: RS rows will become WS rows and vice versa. In RS rows, make front post double crochets behind the upper part of previous double crochets or relief double crochet; in WS rows, make back post double crochets behind the upper part of previous double crochet or relief double crochet.

Stitches Control

Main pattern: 16.5 sts x 9 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Make 86 (94) 102 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with the main pattern. For better fitting, decrease 6 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from both sides. For this, make the 2^nd and 3^rd sts from the right side together and 3^rd and 2^nd sts together from the left side = 74 (82) 90 sts. In 28 (29) 30 cm from the set-up row, increase 6 x 1 st in every 2^nd row = 86 (94) 102 sts. In 44 (46) 48 cm from the set-up row, bind off 4 sts from both sides for arm-holes and 1 x 2 sts, 3 x 1 st in every row = 68 (76) 84 sts. At 20 (21) 22 m height of arm-holes, bind off 15 (18) 21 sts from both sides for shoulders, crochet for 5 cm on the central 38 (40) 42 cm for collar and finish your work.

Front

Make in the same way as the back, but incorporate the rhombs pattern on the central 20 sts. After finishing the rhombs pattern, continue work with the main pattern.

Sleeves

Make 52 (56) 60 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with the main pattern. In 40 (40) 38 cm from the set-up row, decrease 4 sts from both sides for sleeve caps, bind off 1 x 1 st in the next row, 2 x 1 st in every 2^nd row, 2 x 1 st in every row, 3 x 3 sts, and 1 x 4 sts in every row. Finish your work at 15.5 cm height of sleeve cap.

Assembly

Make shoulder and collar seams. Sew up the sleeves, and complete side and sleeve seams.
