A Step-by-Step Guide to Crafting Stockinette Stitch Cable Patterns

The quantity of sts is multiplied by 6, including 2 selvedge sts.

RND 1: 1st row: 6 knit sts, turn, leave the rest sts without knitting them;

RND 2: 2nd row: 6 purls;

Continue work only on these 6 sts with stockinette stitch for 10 rows.

RND 11: 11th row: 6 knit sts, sts from the set-up edge, turn;

RND 12: 12th row: 6 purls, turn, don't knit the rest sts;

Continue work only on these 6 sts with stockinette stitch for 10 rows.

After that, make 2 rows with stockinette stitch on all the sts of the row for separation of one half of cable from another one.

After that, turn your work to the wrong side and repeat all the rows.
