Finished crocheted yarn flower with layered petalsFinished crocheted flower made following this easy pattern; an empty Kinder‑Surprise egg shell can be inserted for a firmer core.

Crocheting beautiful flowers is a delightful way to add charm and personality to hats, scarves, bags, home décor and small gifts. This easy pattern creates a small, stuffed flower with clearly defined rounds and a simple color-change row for layered petals. The pattern uses a fine cotton yarn and a 2.5 mm hook; an empty Kinder‑Surprise egg shell can be inserted for a neat, rounded core if you want a firmer shape.
