Crochet Adorable Labubu

• Amigurumi yarn tex 492, 100% cotton.
• 2.25mm crochet hook.
• 9×6 mm oval safety eyes.
• Tapestry needle.
• Stuffing.
• White felt.

Head

Place the safety eyes (or embroider them) between rounds 11 and 12, leaving 4 stitches between them. Embroider the nose and mouth before stuffing and closing the head. I used white felt to make the teeth.

Fasten off. Place the hat over the head. You can sew or glue it in place for a more secure finish.

Ears

Using beige (body color), work some slst on the ears as shown in image 4. Glue a piece of brown felt on the wrong side of each ear for finishing. Sew the ears to the hat. See image 5.

Eyebrows

1. Chain 5. Starting in 2nd ch from hook: 1 hdc, 3 sc (4)

Fasten off and leave the yarn tail on the wrong side of the piece. Sew or glue the eyebrows slightly above the eyes.

Legs and Feet

1. R1. Using beige yarn, chain 5. Starting in 2nd ch from hook: 3sc, 3sc in 4th ch. 2sc, 1 inc (10)

Fasten off.

To make the second leg, repeat rounds 1 to 11 but do not fasten off. We will join the legs. Work 3 more sc on the second leg and join to the first leg with 1 sc. Mark this joining stitch as the first stitch of the following rounds.

Leave a long tail and sew the body to the head. See image 10, 11, and 12.

Toes

1. Attach beige yarn to the loops left from round 4 of the feet (see image 13). Chain 2, starting in 2nd ch from hook: 1 slst, skip 1 loop, 1 slst in next base stitch.
2. For the second and third toes, repeat the sequence: ch 2, 1 slst, 1 slst in next base stitch. see image 14.

Arms

Start with beige yarn:

1. 6 sc in magic ring (6)
2. 6 inc (12)

1. 4sc, BLO: 3 sc, 5 sc (12)
2. Change to outfit color. In my case, brown.
3. 4-9. 12 sc (6 rounds)

Fold the arm in half and close with 5 sc.

Insert the hook in the loop left from round 3 and work: ch 2, 1 slst, 1 slst in the next base sc. Repeat until you have 3 fingers. (see image 15).
