Front Piece

With CA, 8 sc in the MC. Join to the first stitch. (8 sc)

Round 2

Lift the loop on your hook to about the height of a normal dc. (DcCL, ch 2) in each stitch around. Join to the 1st stitch. (8 dcCL, 8 ch 2 spaces)

Round 3

With CB, ch 1. 2 sc in the same stitch as the ch 1. 2 sc in the next ch 2 space. *2 sc in the next stitch. 2 sc in the next ch 2 space.* Repeat from * to * around. Join to the 1st stitch. (32 sc)

Round 4

With CA, ch 1. Sc in the same stitch as the ch 1. Sc in the next stitch. Ch 1. Working over the next 2 sc, (dc, tr, dc) into the space between the 2 dcCL below. Ch 1. *Sc in the next 2 stitches. Ch 1. Working over the next 2 sc, (dc, tr, dc) into the space between the 2 dcCL below. Ch 1.* Repeat from * to * around. Join to the 1st stitch. (16 sc, 16 dc, 8 tr)

Round 5
