Base of the Bag
Chain an even number of stitches plus one (e.g., chain 24 + 1).

Body of the Bag
Chain one and make one HDC in each stitch around.
Place a stitch marker at the beginning of the row.

Repeat until your bag reaches 3.5 inches tall or a total of 5 rows.
Decreasing Rows (Shaping the Top):
