Gauge: 27 sts x 23 rows = 8” in pattern

All Return Passes are worked as follows: Ch 1, *yo and pull through next 2 loops on hook, rep from * until 1 loop remains on hook.
This pattern begins with Tunisian crochet and switches to linked crochet for the last two rows - so there's just one turn!
Instructions
Make the Pouch (aka the Dishcloth!)
Foundation Row
Ch 27, skip the ch closest to the hook, pull up a loop in each rem ch across.
Row 2
Skip first st, tss in next st, *tps in next st, tss in next st; rep from * until 1 st rem, insert hook in last st under two outer vertical bars, yo, pull loop through.
Row 3
Skip first st, tps in next st, *tss in next st, tps in next st; rep from * until 1 st rem, insert hook in last st under two outer vertical bars, yo, pull loop through.
Rows 4 - 23
Repeat Rows 2 and 3, or to desired case length, ending on a Row 3 rep. (Do not break yarn.)
Make the Clasp Sleeve
Row 1
Ch 3 (counts as first st), LDC worked as tss in next st, *LDC worked as tps in next st, LDC worked as tss in next st; rep from * until 1 st rem, LDC in last st worked under two outer vertical bars; turn.
Row 2
Ch 3, LDC in each rem st across; break yarn leaving a 48" tail.
Assemble the Case
Step 1
Fold the last 1 ½ rows of piece to WS, at the "linked" portion of the dc sts. Holding the open clasp inside this fold, sew the top of the last row to the WS of the case, using the loops available on the WS of the fabric.
Step 2
Fold the clasp and insert the pin to secure it closed.
Step 3
Sew the end of the clasp sleeve along the outside of the case, sealing it inside. Then, continue to sew down the side of the case and across the bottom to finish the case.
To Use, just squeeze the sides of the clasp to open! You can stitch the inside edges of the clasp case closed if desired.
