Instructions
Create the Foundation Chain
Make a slip knot.
Chain 138.
The chain should measure 63cm (about 24.80 inches).
Connect the chain with a slip stitch, ensuring it is not twisted.
Row 1
Chain 2.
Make 1 double crochet in the same chain.
Chain 2, skip 2 chains, and make 2 double crochets in the next chains.
Repeat this process, chaining 2 and finishing with a slip stitch.
Row 2
Chain 2, make 1 double crochet in the double crochet stitch.
Chain 2, skip a space.
Chain 2, and make 2 double crochets in the next double crochet stitch.
Repeat the process, chaining 2 and ending with a slip stitch.
Rows 3-25
Repeat the same process as Row 2.
Finishing
Cut the yarn and sew it in to hide the tail.
The top should measure 30cm by 21cm.
Shoulder Strap:
Mark the point on the strap where you will attach the crochet.
Yarn over, chain 2, and make a double crochet in the next double crochet stitch.
Chain 2, and make a double crochet between the double crochet stitches.
Repeat until the strap measures 60cm (23.5 inches).
Sew in all yarn tails to hide them.
