- worsted weight yarn (only need a small amount for each napkin ring, samples made with Hobby Lobby I love this yarn in Cinnamon Cedar)
- G crochet hook (4/4.25 mm)
- 2 buttons
- yarn needle
- needle and thread
Instructions:
ch 10
Row 1: sc in the second ch from the hook and each ch to the end (9 sc)
Row 2: ch 1, turn sc in first st, [ch 1, sk 1 st, sc in next st] repeat to end (5 sc, 4 ch sp)
Row 3: ch 1, turn sc in first st, sc in ch sp, [ch 1, sk 1 st, sc in next ch sp] repeat until 1 st remaining, sc in last st (6 sc, 3 ch sp)
Row 4-23: repeat rows 2 and 3, 10 more times each (9 sts)
Row 24: ch 1, turn, sc in each st (9 sc)
Row 25: ch 1, turn, sc in first st, ch 3, sk 2 sts, 1 sc in each of next 3 sts, ch 3, sk 2, sc in last st (5 sc, 6 ch)
Finish off and weave in ends
Fold the strip into a ring, overlapping the ends slightly, to see where the buttons need to be placed. Sew 2 buttons to the beginning end, opposite the loops. Put the buttons through the loops to make the ring.
