V-Stitch
Dc, ch 1, dc in same stitch of previous row.
Point Stitch
This is like dc 2 sts together. Yo, insert hook in next dc of previous row, yo, pull hook through (3 loops on hook), yo and pull hook through 2 loops on hook (1 remaining); yo insert hook in next dc of previous row, yo, pull hook through (3 loops on hook), yo and pull hook through remaining loops on hook.
If you have ever had to dc 2 sts together, this is basically the same thing.
Instructions
Ch 32, turn.
Row 1
Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch 3 and turn.
Row 2
Dc in 1st 2 sts, *skip 2 sts, V-Stitch in next st. Repeat from * for 7 more times, skip 2 sts and dc in last 2 sts. Ch 3 and turn.
Row 3
Dc in 1st 2 sts, *ch 2, Point Stitch in top of V Stitch of previous row. Repeat from * for 7 more times. Ch 2, dc in last 2 dc. Ch 3 and turn.
Repeat Rows 2 and 3 for 5 more times. On last repeat of Row 3, end with ch 1 and turn.
Final Row
Sc in each dc and ch across. Fasten off and weave in ends.
