- small amount of Peaches & Creme yarn or your favorite cotton yarn
- size G hook
Stitches Used
sc (single crochet)
hdc (half double crochet)
dc (double crochet)
Instructions
ch 4 join to form a ring
Round 1
ch 2 (counts as the first stitch here and in future rounds) hdc 11 more in the ring. Join to the top of ch 2. (12 stitches)
Round 2
ch 2. hdc in the same stitch as join and 2 in each stitch around. Join (24 stitches)
Round 3
ch 2 hdc in the same stitch as join. *hdc in the next stitch, 2hdcs in the next stitch (repeat * around) join (36 stitches)
Round 4
ch 2 hdc in the same stitch as join. *hdc in the next 2 stitches, 2 hdcs in the next stitch (repeat * around) join (48 stitches)
Round 5
ch 1 slip stitch in each stitch around. Join in ch 1 fasten off.
Round 6
Join a new color in the back loop of any hdc from round 4. (This is behind the slip stitch. This round will be worked behind the slip stitch...basically in the back loop of the round 4 half double crochet)
ch 1, sc next, 3 dcs in the next. *sc in the next 2 stitches, 3 dcs in the next (repeat * around) join to ch 1 and fasten off.
Weave in all ends.
