Coaster measures 4” wide x 3¾” high.

Ch 5 (counts as dc, ch 2), [skip next ch-2 space, dc in next dc, ch 2] 18 times, skip next 2 chs, dc in next ch; turn. Fasten off.
Note
Foundation Mesh should measure 5 ¼” wide x 4¾” high when complete and will stretch when the design area is worked.
Design Area
With right side facing, using larger hook, join B with slip st in last ch-2 space on Row 1 (dot on chart in bottom left corner), ch 3, 3 dc in same ch-2 space, follow arrow around to dot, working 8 dc in ch-5 corner spaces and 4 dc around each dc post and in each ch-2 space; join with a slip st in top of ch-3. Fasten off.
Work other sections in the same manner, starting at dot and following arrow around to dot in this order:
