Crochet Brr Snowman Dishcloth

Size: 7”W x 10”L , Hook: H/5.0mm, Yarn: Peaches N Cream: A=White (1.0oz) B=hat/scarf (.5oz), small amounts of black & Orange if using yarn for eyes/nose
Notes: Bold print: Repeated in pattern. Sts: Work in next st/chsp. Join: Join W/slst in beg st, unless otherwise stated.

Abbreviations & Stitches Used

Beg=Beginning Ch=Chain Slst=Slip Stitch Sc=Single Crochet
Sp=Spaces Sk=Skip W/=With Dc=Double Crochet

St(s)=Stitch(es) Lps=Loops

Head:

Rnd 1: W/A, ch4, work 11 dc in 4th ch from hook, join. (12dc)

Rnd 2: Ch3, dc in same st. 2dc in each st around, join. (24dc)

Rnd 3: Ch3, dc in same st. 2dc in each st around, join. (48dc)

Rnd 4: Ch3, dc in each st around, join. (48dc) Fasten off, leave a long tail to sew onto body.

Body:

Rnds 1-4: Repeat rnds 1-4 of head.

Rnd 5: Ch3, dc in same st. [Dc in next 2sts, 2dc in next st] Repeat around ending w/dc in last 2sts, join. (64dc) Fasten off leaving long tail.

W/right side up, overlap head onto body. Match rnd 4 of head with top of rnd 2 of body. Sew head to body, pull yarn to back to sew the back part too, so there is no gap. Weave in ends when done.

Next rnd is an estimate, you may have more/less, below is what I worked. See pic above, see yarn needle? This is where you join yarn.

Rnd 6: W/A, Ch1, sc in same st, & next 31sts, *Slst in next st of head, slst in next st of body,* sc in next 47sts, slst in next st of body, slst in next st of head, join. (79sc, 4slst)

Ear Muffs: W/B

Rnd 1: Ch4, 9dc in 4th ch from hook, join. (10dc)

Rnd 2: Ch1, slst in each st around. Do not fasten off.

Ch24, repeat rnds 1 & 2 once more after the end of rnd 2, ch1, and slst back down the 24chs, fasten off leaving long tail to sew onto head.

Attach your ear muffs to the top of your snowman, eyeball where you think it should be, and you might want to use bobby pins to keep in place while sewing on.

Scarf: W/B

Row 1: Ch41, sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across. Fasten off and sew onto snowman around neck area.

Eyes: (make 2)

W/Black, 10 sc in a magic circle, pull circle tight, join to first sc. Fasten off. (10sc)

If you want buttons you can use eye instructions.

Nose: W/orange

Ch5, slst in 2nd ch from hook and next ch, hdc in next ch, 2dc in last ch, fasten off and sew unto snowman
