I Love This Cotton Yarn (I used white)

H/5mm hook

Chain 25

Row 1: dc in 4th ch from hook (3 skipped ch count as 1st dc) and each ch across. Turn (23 stitches)

Rows 2-6: Ch 3, (counts as 1st dc). Skip 1st stitch. Dc in each stitch across, ending with dc in top of ch 3 of previous row. Turn. (23 stitches)

Row 7: ch 1, (does not count as a stitch) sc in each stitch across, ending with sc in top of ch 3 of previous row. Turn. (23 stitches)

Rows 8-12: ch 1, sc in each stitch across. Turn. (23 stitches)

Row 13: Ch 3, (counts as 1st dc). Skip 1st stitch. Dc in each stitch across. (23 stitches)

Rows 14-18: Ch 3, (counts as 1st dc). Skip 1st stitch. Dc in each stitch across, ending with dc in top of ch 3 of previous row. Turn. (23 stitches) DO NOT TURN at the end of row 18.

Border:

Round 1: Sc evenly around dishcloth, working 3 sc in each corner. Join with ss to 1st sc. DO NOT TURN.

Round 2: Ch 3, dc in each stitch around, working 3dc in each corner. Join with ss to top of ch 3. DO NOT TURN.

Round 3: Ch 1, sc in each stitch around, working 3 sc in each corner. Join with ss to 1st sc. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Finished size is approximately 8 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches.
