- Shattered glass of different colours
- Cloth
- Hammer
- Beads of various colours
- Tweezers
- Gloves
- Sieve
- Safety goggles
- Brush
- Print holder
- White paint
- Glue
Preparation Steps
Before starting, ensure your safety by wearing safety goggles and gloves.
Take a glass bottle and wrap it securely in cloth.
Break the bottle carefully using a hammer.
Next, take a sieve and sift the broken glass pieces.
Select the desired pieces using tweezers.
Creating the Butterfly Pattern
Create a black and white butterfly pattern. You can either draw it yourself or print one from the internet.
Color the pattern according to the colors of the shattered glass and beads you have selected.
Assembling the Art Piece
Insert the finished pattern into the photo frame. On the glass of the frame, glue the fragmented pieces and use beads to fill in the contours. It's advisable to apply the fragments using tweezers and beads with a toothpick for precision.
Once the fragments are secured, carefully pull the template out from the pattern.
Lastly, paint the frame's background with white paint, ensuring you avoid the butterfly. Allow the frame to dry completely before displaying your artwork.
