Hi, y'all. I was born in South East Kentucky when I was very young. If my father could read this, he'd say, "Sister, there's a million comedians in this country starving to death, and here you are, tryin' to be one. He had quite the repertoire.

I'm a college graduate, and my husband was in the Navy for 22 years. He died when he was 47.

I have two loving children, dogs, cats, and the best baby brother in the world. My kitties and doggies give me much love, beg for food, constantly, and are endlessly entertaining.

I decided to crochet cats and a raccoon for his birthday and Christmas. I haven't crocheted in about 12 years. That was a bit of a disaster 😖 The animals will get made, maybe for Valentine's Day? I decided to crochet a kitty afghan., maybe that one will get done???

I've done many things in my life. Most of them as I chaperoned my children's activities, or my various volunteer activities for my husband's submarine.

My next projects, which I hope will be easier than what I'm doing now, will be warm socks for my daughter, and a warm sweater for me. I freeze! I'm only 65 but my rotten kids like to tease me about being old 😝
