Retired, live in 55+ active adult community. Very involved on community committees. At home I spend lots of time on the computer, but not with games. It is in conjunction with the committees I am on. I create posters and make announcements for upcoming events in our community. My title is the promotion & publicity specialist on the social activity committee. My creative projects are many. My other computer projects are personalized greeting cards I create for my family. Another project is wreath making, which I have materials to make many more, but too busy with community projects. In the past couple of months I have made a white crocheted dress up "shrug" I wore for the Valentine's dance. Then I finished a C2C afghan and made a C2C shawl for a friend. I have several other projects in progress which I pick up when I have time. My dear husband of almost 58 years passed away in June, 2019 with advanced prostate cancer. I still travel in my 34' motor home, towing a car behind. After my husband passed in June, I drove back to Iowa to bury his ashes. It challenged me to do everything by myself, but it gives me joy to be self sufficient by continuing to travel. It isn't as joyful without my partner, but it gives me a home on wheels when I visit my family. As I write this we are in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic so my traveling will be put on hold for the foreseeable future. Who knows, being "sheltered at home" maybe I will have time for more projects!
