Easy Bulky Yarn Scarf Pattern for Beginners - Step-by-Step Guide

Approx. Measurements

Width: 25 cm

Length (fold): 60 cm

You'll Need

  • 300 g of bulky yarn (about 50-60 m in 50 g)
  • Circle needles 6 or 7 mm

Description

Cast on 180 sts on circle needles 6 mm, put a marker at the end of the row, circle the work and knit around.

Knit 6 rows, rotating knit sts row with purls row (garter stitch) on needles 6 mm.

Knit the 1st row with knit sts, change to needles 7 mm (knit the 1st row with knit sts on 7 mm needles).

Then knit the scarf, using the scheme below. Knit the even rows according to the pattern scheme.

Change needles to 6 mm and knit 1 row with knit sts.

Knit 6 rows rotating knit sts row with purls row, close the sts.
