This two-side knitting is used for scarves, sweaters, jackets, and coats. The quantity of stitches is 14 + 2 edging fold. For making the pattern, cast on 30 stitches and knit according to the scheme:
Description
1st Row
7 knit stitches, 7 purls, repeat until the end of the row;
2nd and 14th Rows
1 purl, 5 knit stitches, 1 purl, 1 knit stitch, 5 purls, 1 knit stitch, repeat until the end of the row;
3rd and 13th Rows
1 knit stitch, 1 purl, 3 knit stitches, 1 purl, 1 knit stitch, 1 purl, 1 knit stitch, 3 purls, 1 knit stitch, 1 purl, repeat until the end of the row;
4th and 12th Rows
1 purl, 1 knit stitch, repeat until the end of the row;
5th and 11th Rows
1 knit stitch, 1 purl, repeat until the end of the row;
6th and 10th Rows
1 purl, 1 knit stitch, 3 purls, 1 knit stitch, 1 purl, 1 knit stitch, 1 purl, 3 knit stitches, 1 purl, 1 knit stitch, repeat until the end of the row;
7th Row
1 knit stitch, 5 purls, 1 knit stitch, 1 purl, 5 knit stitches, 1 purl, repeat until the end of the row;
8th Row
7 purls, 7 knit stitches;
9th Row
1 knit stitch, 5 purls, 1 knit stitch, 1 purl, 5 knit stitches, 1 purl, repeat until the end of the row;
15th Row
Repeat the pattern from the 1st row.
