What are you knitting/crochetting now?

Hello, ladies!

Have a great day and mood!

I offer you to place photos of what you're knitting or crochetting now.

I'm seaking for new yarn, in plans - to knit a sweater for my daughter and crochet a hat for my husband.

What about your plans?

Hi. No photos, but a great sweater or top can be made by using corner to corner crochet. Use yarn with the relevant hook an c2c until its wide enough for your bust. Continue c2c crochet BUT end the width by making the shortest side go straight up. When the longest side is the length that you want your top/sweater then stop the c2c going upwards and make the neck edge straight until the all the rest c2c is filled in. That's the front or back done. Make another. Then make a rectangle in the same way for the sleeves. First the width (measure round the top of your arm), then do the same as the front/back to get the length. Join shoulders to leave a big enough gap for slash neck (add crochet collar if wanted) and fold sleeve in half lengthways and sew in with middle of fold at shoulder seam. Sew up side & sleeve seams. It is much easier to do than explain. The finer the yarn the smaller the c2c square. If you've measured correctly you will have a perfect fit (measure another top/sweater you have which fits you well & use those measurements). If you really want a photo I could get a friend to take it. I have a top & a sweater. Using multi colour yarn comes out fabulously with diagonal stripes, or if you don't have enough of one colour, use a contrast for a stripe across one shoulder — classy! I've got one! Hope someone understands my pattern (started when I got bored with making blankets!) Suey

I am crocheting a top and skirt for me. It is my dads 70th birthday party in March and I would like to make something to wear. I just keep changing my mind though. I am not super confident as I have only been crocheting 18 mo the and still slow at learning tho it’s. x
