Head Accessories Day
Head Accessories Day

Hello, ladies!

As usual I want to wish you a perfect day.

I have a question for you: Do you wear head accessories, like headbands or ear warmer or maybe anything else?

So if your answer is yes, this "Head Accessories Day" is for you.

I prefer ear warmers, head bands for I have long hair and like to show it.
There are many styles of the ear warmers, head bands to choose from and make for your self and family n friends and what is shown here are all lovely and you can choose any color and type of yarn ,I personally prefer Kashmere. Thank you for all you've shared with us and happy crafting!!!

Not this one, that is on the first picture, but I think, that rather similar pattern. Hope, you'll like it.

You can also put a brooch on it.

TWISTED KNIT EAR WARMER

NOTES

You can easily decrease the number of rows or add extra rows to make the headband either smaller or larger.
The cable is worked when you have knit half the length of the headband
If you would like the headband thicker cast on more stitches. Just make sure you cast on an even amount of stitches.

MATERIAL

Super bulky (level 6) yarn. I used Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick
9mm Straight needles
Cable needle
Yarn needle

PATTERN

Cast on 12 Stitches

Row 1: Purl

Row 2: *P1, k1b, *repeat to the end of the row

Row 3 – 22 (or until length 10.5 inches): Repeat row 2

Row 23: 12-St RKC (slip the first 6 stitches onto your cable need and place to the back of your work. Continue the pattern on the remaining 6 stitches *p1, k1b *repeat til the end of the row. Now knit the stitches on the cable needle *p1, k1b *repeat til the end of the row)

Row 24-42 (or until length reaches 20 inches): Repeat row 2

Cast off and seam ends using a whip stitch
