Step-by-Step Guide for Creating a Beautiful Crochet Pattern with Chain Stitches and Double Crochet

Introduction

The quantity of stitches is a multiple of 8 + 3 + 3 chain stitches increase.

Row Instructions

1st Row (Right Side)

Dc into the 6th chain from the hook, then follow this pattern:

  • * Sk 2 chains, 5 double crochets into the next chain, sk 2 chains, dc into the next chain, ch 1, sk 1 chain, dc into the next chain; rep from * to end.

Turn;

2nd Row

Ch 4 (counts as 1 double crochet and 1 chain), then:

  • Sk the first stitch and next chain, dc into the next dc, * sk 2 dc, 5 dc into the next dc, sk 2 dc, dc into the next dc, ch 1, sk 1 chain, dc into the next dc; rep from * ending last repeat in the 2nd chain of the turning chain.

Turn.

Repeat Instructions

Continue to repeat the 2nd row as needed.
