Crochet hook 4.5;

Short circular knitting needles 4.

Size

Used Patterns

Main Pattern

The quantity of set-up row is multiple of 10 + 9. Work according to scheme 1. Start with stitches before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, and finish with stitches after pattern repeat.

Make 1st-7th rows once, then repeat 2nd-7th rows.

Structured Pattern

The quantity of stitches is odd. Work in the same way as the main pattern, but according to scheme 2. Make 1st-3rd rows once, then repeat 2nd-3rd rows.

Note

Start pattern with 1 WS row.

Stitches Control

Main pattern: 18.5 sts x 8.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Structured pattern: 15.5 sts x 11.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Make 89 (99) chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase and work with the main pattern. In 42 cm = 36 rows (40 cm = 34 rows) from the set-up row, skip 3 cm from both sides for armholes = 6 sts. In 44.5 cm = 38 rows from the set-up row, continue working with the structured pattern, making 65 (75) sts in the 1st row. In 18 cm = 21 rows from the beginning of structured pattern, skip the central 25 sts for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. At the same time, skip 8 (9) sts from both sides for shoulder chamfer and 1 x 6 (8) sts in the next 2nd row. In 21.5 cm = 25 rows from the beginning structured pattern, finish work on the remaining 6 (8) sts of shoulder.

Front

Make in the same way as the back, but with a deeper neck-hole. For this, skip the central 9 sts in 15 cm = 17 rows from the beginning of structured pattern and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 4 sts and 2 x 2 sts in each row from inwards.

Sleeves

Make 49 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase for each sleeve and work with the main pattern. In 14 cm = 12 rows from the set-up row, increase 1 cm from both sides for sleeve chamfers, and after that, bind off 5 x 1 cm in every 4th row (7 x 1 cm in every 3rd row) according to the pattern. In 42.5 cm = 36 rows from the set-up row, continue working with the structured pattern, making 59 (65) single crochets in the 1st row. After that, increase 2 x 1 st in every 5th row from both sides according to the pattern = 63 (69) sts. In 12 cm = 14 rows from patterns change, finish work.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Sew up the sleeves and make side and sleeve seams. For the collar, cast on 76 sts along the neck-hole with circular knitting needles and work with rib. In 6 cm from the beginning of the collar, bind off sts as they face. Make tassels of 4 threads of yarn, 25 cm long.
