Used Patterns
Relief Pattern:
The quantity of sts is multiple of 6 + 1 + 2 selvage sts. Work according to the scheme, where only RS rows are stated; make WS rows sts and yarn overs as purls. Start with 1 selvage st and sts before the pattern repeat, followed by the pattern repeat, finish with the sts after the pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Repeat the 1st-8th rows.
Stripes Order:
24 beige rows, 24 orange rows, 24 red rows, 24 brown rows, 24 red rows, 24 orange rows, 24 beige rows, 24 orange rows, 24 red rows, 24 brown rows, finishing with 8 beige rows = a total of 248 rows.
Stitches Control:
20 sts x 31 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Back/Front:
Cast on 105 (111) 117 sts and work with the relief pattern following the stripes order. In 22.5 cm = 70 rows from the set-up row, bind off 1 st from both sides for better fitting and 9 x 1 st in every 8th row = 85 (91) 97 sts. In 62 cm = 192 rows from the set-up row, bind off the central 21 sts with orange yarn for the neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 4 x 1 st in every 2nd row from inwards. At the same time, in 64.5 cm = 200 rows (63 cm = 196 rows) from the set-up row, bind off 5 sts from both sides for arm-holes and 3 x 1 st in every 2nd row. In 80 cm = 248 rows from the set-up row, bind off the remaining 20 (23) 26 sts of shoulder from each side.
Assembly:
Make shoulder and side seams. Fasten the neck-hole and arm-holes with 1 circular row of single crochets using beige yarn.
